DYK: Hospitals Adopting EHR in Record Numbers
Digitizing records is now such a big deal in healthcare that the Electronic Health Record sector is valued at $9.3 billion. Hospitals are coming on board in record numbers. The percentage of hospitals using digital records skyrocketed from 9.4% to 75.5% between 2008 and 2014.* But, transferring data from one hospital system to another is still a huge problem. Baby steps, baby steps.
